Welcome to Luuk's Coffee
Luuks Coffee is a specialty coffee brand based in Amsterdam, founded in 2021.
We run two busy cafés in the city and roast our own coffee to support what happens behind the bar every day.
Luuk started Luuks Coffee after noticing that many coffee bars sit at extremes; either too complex for people new to specialty coffee, like his own parents, or too commercial and impersonal for those who already love great coffee. Luuks Coffee was created to sit right in between.
Our focus is simple: great coffee, served well, every day.
The kind of coffee people actually drink, not just talk about.
Our cafés
Luuks Coffee lives first in our cafés.
Two locations in Amsterdam: Noordermarkt and Vijzelgracht fast-paced, high-volume, deeply human spaces. Places where regulars stop by daily, tourists discover us by accident, and coffee has to perform under real conditions.
Everything we sell online starts here.
If a coffee doesn’t work in our cafés, it doesn’t go into a bag.
This café-first mindset keeps us grounded. It forces our coffee to be consistent, balanced, and enjoyable. Not theoretical.
What makes us different
We roast, but we are not “a roaster” in the classic sense.
Most coffee brands start with roasting and build cafés later. We did the opposite. Our roasting exists to serve people, service, and daily drinking, not competitions or hype cycles.
