Terms and Conditions

1. Organizer

This giveaway ("Giveaway") is organized by Luuk's Coffee ("we," "us," "our"), Luuk’s Coffee, Westerstraat 3, Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

2. Eligibility
  • Open to individuals aged 18 or older at the time of entry.
  • Employees of Luuk's Coffee and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
  • Entrants must comply with the entry method described in the Giveaway's promotional materials (e.g., Instagram post, website form) to be considered valid.
3. Entry Period

The Giveaway runs from the publication date of the announcement post on Luuk's Coffee's Instagram account ("27/8/26") until 23:59 CEST on September 3, 2026.

Entries received outside this window will not be considered.

3bis. How to Enter

To enter, participants must, during the Entry Period:

  1. Follow Luuk's Coffee on Instagram;
  2. Like the official Giveaway post; and
  3. Comment on the Giveaway post tagging a friend they would take on a coffee date.

Each qualifying comment counts as one (1) individual entry. Participants may submit multiple entries by posting multiple qualifying comments, each tagging a different person. Comments that do not tag another Instagram user, or that tag a non-existent/deactivated account, will not count as valid entries. Instagram is not a sponsor of, and is not associated with, this Giveaway.

 4. The Prize

  • Prize: Free coffee at Luuk's Coffee for a period of five (5) years from the date the winner is notified.
  • Scope of the prize:
    • The prize covers coffee-based beverages only, as available on the standard Luuk's Coffee menu. Matcha, chai, and any other non-coffee drinks are explicitly excluded, along with food items, retail products (e.g., beans, merchandise), and add-ons/extras unless explicitly stated.
    • The prize is limited to one (1) beverage per day. Unused daily allowances do not roll over or accumulate.
    • The prize can only be redeemed in-store at Luuk's Coffee Noordermarkt during regular opening hours, subject to normal service availability. It is not valid at any other Luuk's Coffee location.
  • No cash alternative: The prize has no cash value and cannot be exchanged, sold, or redeemed for cash or any other product or service.
  • No monetary value transfer: If Luuk's Coffee ceases operations, changes ownership, or permanently closes during the 5-year period, the prize terminates and no compensation will be provided, except where required by law.
5. Personal and Non-Transferable
  • The prize is strictly personal to the winner and may not be transferred, gifted, sold, or assigned to any other person under any circumstances.
  • Redemption requires the winner to identify themselves at the point of purchase (e.g., via a personal code, card, or ID verification method specified by Luuk's Coffee at the time of notification).
  • Any attempt to use the prize on behalf of, or for the benefit of, a third party will void the remaining prize entitlement.
6. Winner Selection and Notification
  • The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries (qualifying comments) after the Entry Period closes on September 3, 2026.
  • The winner will be announced on September 4, 2026, via Luuk's Coffee's Instagram Stories, and will also be contacted directly via Instagram direct message.
  • If the winner does not respond to our direct message within 3 days of notification, we reserve the right to select an alternate winner from the remaining valid entries.

 7. Verification

We reserve the right to verify the eligibility and identity of the winner. We may request proof of identity and age before confirming the prize.

8. Use of the Prize
  • The winner is responsible for redeeming their daily beverage during Luuk's Coffee's normal operating hours.
  • Luuk's Coffee reserves the right to refuse service in cases of abuse, fraud, resale attempts, or violation of these Terms.
  • Temporary unavailability of specific menu items does not entitle the winner to compensation or substitution beyond an equivalent beverage.
9. Modification, Suspension, or Cancellation

Luuk's Coffee reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the Giveaway or these Terms at any time, for reasons including but not limited to technical issues, fraud, or force majeure, without liability, to the extent permitted by law.

10. Data Protection

Personal data collected for the purposes of this Giveaway will be processed in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and will only be used to administer the Giveaway and contact the winner, unless separate consent is given for other purposes (e.g., marketing). 11. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Luuk's Coffee is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in the Giveaway or use of the prize.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes arising from this Giveaway shall be submitted to the competent courts of Amsterdam.

13. Acceptance

By entering this Giveaway, participants confirm they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
